Golden Good Government League (3GL), an organization committed to fostering good representative government for all Golden citizens.

The City of Golden held its general elections on November 7, 2017 and all four Ward Councilors were up for election.

This year, Goldenís citizens will be electing four individuals to fill the four Ward councilor positions that are up for election. The four Wards are One, Two, Three and Four.

3GL interviewed nine candidates that ran for the four offices. We very much appreciates that each expressed a willingness to meet with us and discuss their respective candidacies.  Our recommendations for each of the wards can be found under the Endorsements tab on this site.

Ward One candidates:

  • Micah Allen
  • Robert Reed - won the position of Councilor

Ward Two candidates:

  • Deborah Deal
  • Paul Haseman - won the position of Councilor
  • Daniel Sung
  • Josh Thompson

Ward Three candidate:

  • Jim Dale-running unopposed - won the election

Ward Four candidates:

  • Michael Sheridan
  • Laura Weinberg-current incumbent - won the election

Thank you to all candidates for running and for committing your time to our community. We hope that all will continue their involvement in Golden and the community.
